Costa Vida sent Marc and I on an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii. The island of Oahu to be specific. It was our first time to Hawaii for both of us. We were SO excited to go. We got to spend a week in paradise. We both can't wait to go back!

Marc and I went on a jungle paradise hiking expedition. What should have been a 2 hour hike, turned into an 8 hour trek through the jungle. To make a long story short, we got lost, and YES the trail signs were ALL wrong!!! And yes I think I was crying, and covered in mud. We ended up on top of a mountain, and some really nice construction workers let us ride in the back of their truck, and drove us down the mountain. Just in time to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center for our Luau. Phew

This was our view from Diamondhead Volcano. I remember it being very dry, hot and almost deserty on this side of the Island. Who knew a Tropical Island could be like that???

We also experienced Pearl Harbor, Orbs of Oahu Haunted Tours, Beach to Eternity, Snuba diving with Sea Turtles, Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, Waikiki, Polynesian Cultural Center, Some SERIOUS SUNBURN for Shauna and NO time to spend on the beach!!!
We're thinking next time we go to Hawaii, we explore the Island of Kaui!
